Who exactly is Club Werner, you ask? Well it kind of evolved by accident over a period of twenty plus years. As a child, I dreamed of marrying a rich man (why not, right?) and having one or two children. I attended college at Northeast Missouri State University (now Truman State University) in the hopes of earning my Mrs. degree. Four years later I graduated with a lonely B.S. degree in Child and Family Development.

Fast forward several years, several jobs and I found myself relocating with a friend (yes, a boyfriend for all you nosy folks) to AZ. Boyfriend informed that waitressing tables was not a “real” job and to be with him I needed a more professional position. Obediently, I took his advice, got a “real” job and a different boyfriend too. In hindsight, it was his demand that started the journey which is now known as Club Werner.

With no experience in the field of social work, and a degree in a related field, I was given a lucky break and offered a position with a company who was contracted by the State of Arizona to license foster homes in the rural district.

Nowadays in education, blogs also play an important part. Professors use blogging to document the lessons that they have discussed and taught. This way, students who who have missed classes, can easily catch up with their assignments.

However, there are many aspects of the profession. Working as a fashion designer can just as well mean supervising a design team at a sportswear company as producing a label under your own name. Although the former career may not seem as glamorous as the latter, it certainly will make your life less stressful. To create your own label takes a lot of time, dedication and hard work. Not to mention living just above the poverty line for several years
